Symptoms

The latest planner ESU JN20180 is applied on the setup which brings the Update Credits Enhancement into the system. See the following document for more details on this enhancement:
E1: CHA: ESU: Functionality Found in JDE Update Manager (Doc ID 2854927.1)

When trying to force merge an ESU, following the steps in document Doc ID 790705.1, when clicking on the 'Next' button after objects have been 'Marked for Selection'  the spec merge report R98700 is not kicked off, instead the below message is displayed

9.2. Planner ESU JN20180 was applied, which brings the Update Credits Enhancement into the system.
