E1: GRID: Import from Excel is Not Respecting the Blank Rows (Doc ID 2945110.1)

Symptoms

When importing excel data with blank rows (it can be in the beginning or in the middle or a combination of both), the imported data is not respecting the coordinates in the excel sheet. As a result, data populated in the grid is not the same data/format as seen in the excel sheet.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Login to web client
  2. Fastpath to P4220
  3. Click on the plus sign to ADD
  4. On the next screen - Serial Number Revisions - enter a valid Item Number (eg: 220)
  5. Enter a valid Branch/Plant (eg: M30)
  6. Click on Import Grid Data icon
  7. Try the use cases as demonstrated in the below images:
