Symptoms
When employees work in more than one state (that have an reciprocal agreement) during a pay period payroll the system is putting the wages on the incorrect tax area for state income tax.
Steps:
1. Create an hourly employee P0801 with work area 16 (Iowa). Set Residency Status to N "Based on Reciprocal Agreement".
2. Create daily timecards P051121 work area 16 (Iowa) for 32 hours and 28 (Nebraska) for 8 hours.
3. Run through Payroll Workbench P07210, and review row exit Payment Details/Tax Detail and note the wages for Iowa tax type F (State Income Tax) are showing for Nebraska tax type F and the wages for Nebraska tax type F (State Income Tax) are showing for Iowa.
