E1:42W: Need Capability for Fulfillment Release (R4277703) to Update Shipment Status of Released Lines

Symptoms
Currently Fulfillment Release (R4277703) provides a processing option to override Sales Order Status but does not have a processing option to update Shipment Status.
Client wants a way to Update the Shipment Status at the time of Fulfillment Release (R4277703) for lines Released from Fulfillment (Fulfillment Status 50), so that the lines will at that status will not be considered Open Shipments (Shipment Status 10) and will not be available for shipment consolidation with Unfulfilled Sales Order Lines (Fulfillment Status 10, 20, 30 and 40)
For Example Orders Released from Fulfillment at Fulfillment Status 50 could have their Shipment Status Updated to 20 (On Hold) so that they would not be considered Open Shipments and could not be available for Shipment Consolidation with Unfulfilled Lines.
Users could enter any available status in UDC Table 41/SS shipment status in the new Fulfillment Release (R4277703) processing option.
