Last updated on DECEMBER 10, 2024

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After applying ESU JN20345 that includes Bug 34815867 there are no 401K amounts within a payroll when Group Limit Maximum Percent is set up with Employee DBA Instructions.

Steps:
1. In DBA P059116 add 401K setup a deduction Method of Calc is percent, with Group Limit Code (group has Annual Limit 1 and 2), US Leg/Reg is 401k Deferral.
2. In DBA P059116 add 401K Catch Up setup a deduction Method of Calc is percent, with same Group Limit Code (group has Annual Limit 1 and 2), US Leg/Reg is 401k CU2>50.
3. In Employee DBA Instructions P050181 add each deduction to the employee. Set Amount/Rate 1 with percent for the 401K and Amount/Rate 2 with percent for the 401K Catch up. For each deduction enter the total of the percent into the Group Limit Maximum Percent.
4. In P07210I add the employee, pay type 1 for 80 hours, and calculate. Incorrectly the 401K does not calculate. But if the Group Limit Maximum Percent is removed from the Employee DBA Instructions P050181 the 401k will calculate.
