Symptoms

Business function name is not populated when trying to create a custom request (Business Function type) through Orchestrator Studio. The issue is only occurs with a particular custom Business Function (e.g. N571123). There is no issue with another standard or custom Business Function (e.g. N5731CMP).

"No Matches found" in Function Name list for a Custom Business Function (N571123)




No Issue for Another Custom Business Function (N5731CMP)

 

A "TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'length')" error can be seen in the user specific AIS debug log.


Steps to duplicate:

  1. Sign on to Orchestrator Studio
  2. Click Custom Request
  3. Create New
  4. In Function Object Name field, enter N571123
  5. See "No matches found' in Function Name field
