E1: CFR11: CFRUSER Displaying System User Instead of Logged User And CFRPID Displaying Generic Values Instead of Application Name (Doc ID 2947442.1)

Last updated on MAY 08, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

CFR11 Auditing has been enabled in 9.2 release. When checking the AXXX table for the audit records the CFRUSER column is listing the system user used instead of the actual user performing the transactions.

The CFRPID column is showing 'JDBC thin client' for web sessions and 'activeConsole' for fat client sessions, instead of displaying the actual application name where transactions was handled.

Steps

  1. Configure Auditing in the pathcode using procedure mentioned in Enabling Auditing and Electronic Signatures for a Pathcode
  2. Enable Auditing on a table e.g., F0005 using procedure mentioned in Setting Up Auditing
  3. Add a new UDC record
  4. From UTB check the table A0005 for the CFRUSER and CFRPID
