Symptoms

In Account Master Sequence (P510121), when changing the Account Description using a Language in the User’s Profile, P510121 updates the Account Master (F0901) record with the Alternate Description for the User’s Language instead of the Account Master - Alternate Description (F0901D) record.

Steps

1. Verify the User has no Language set in the User’s Profile
2. In Account Master (P0901), Row Exit > Account Translation for an Account and enter a translation
3. In User Profile Revisions (P0092), set the Language to French
4. Sign out and sign back in
5. From Work with Job Master (P51006), Row exit > Account Sequence
6. In Account Master Sequence (P510121), change the Description for the Account
7. In User Profile Revisions (P0092), remove the Language
8. Sign out and sign back in
9. In Account Master (P0901), verify the Account’s Description was changed (instead of the Alternate Description)
