E1: 44H: Takeoff Master P44H602 does not Validate Homebuilder Item Master and Community Records (Doc ID 2949429.1)

Last updated on JUNE 24, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Homebuilder - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Takeoff Master application P44H602 does not validate a lot of the information during new record entry – it is possible to enter a Community Number that does not exist in the Area being used, and no validation that the Item Number is set-up in the Homebuilder Item Master P44H600, for the specific Area.

STEPS TO DUPLICATE:

  1.  Navigate to Takeoff Master P44H602, enter an Area in the Header Control. Form Exit > "Takeoff Maintenance". Alternatively you can hit the add button which will take you to the same form.
  2.  Enter a community number that exists in a different Area. No error or warning is thrown to indicate the nonexistent record.
  3.  Enter an item number that is not set-up in the current Area within Homebuilder Item Master P44H601.  This is also not validated and no error/warning is thrown.
  4.  The Takeoff record can be saved, and viewed in the F44H602 table.
