(Doc ID 2953317.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 10, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
After applying Enhancement BUG 34513914 there are 2 problems with the enhancement that are noted:
1. The P186401 rule set cannot include both an Accum Rule to calculate the overtime and create overtime timecards, and the new Call Custom to call the new OCR_FLSA_OT added to N186405.
2. The overtime pay type must be set up with a Pay Type Category of V for the new OCR_FLSA_OT to create the new timecard for pay type 999 with a lump sum amount.
Steps:
1. Add via the Work With Field/Function Definitions (P186101) application (Usage code OCR, Source Module N186405, Function Name OCR_FLSA_OT).
2. P059116 pay type 999 must exist
3. In P186401 create a rule set with the work date as the end date of the rule. Add an Accum Rule and a Call Custom rule for OCR_FLSA_OT.
4. Setup employee in group P186201
5. Enter time pay type 1 with overtime for employee P051121
6. In P186401 submit rule set
7. Verify in P051121 incorrectly only the overtime accumulator is processed
8. But if a separate rule with only Call Custom rule for OCR_FLSA_OT is created in P186401 and an overtime timecard exists (where the overtime pay type is set up with a Pay Type Category of V) and submitted the FSLA overtime is calculated.
