Symptoms

Form Extension calling Logic Extension does not return error when expected.

CNC Administrator wants to stop a user from editing a GL batch if the user is also the approver.  Want to use a Logic Extension to either disable the add and delete buttons or throw an error message that the user is not allowed to edit a batch when also the approver.

A Form Extension on P0911B GL Batch was created that triggers a Logic Extension (LEX) when the Add button is pushed. The expectation is that the error message would appear immediately as the Logic Extension is set to execute before the event. Instead, P0911 is being invoked. When P0911 is closed, control is returned back to P0911B and the error message appears. How to make the error appear before P0911 opens?
