Symptoms

The e1root.log displays an error message indicating that the user is not authenticated, followed by a severe error with a null pointer exception.
However, the log entries do not provide the JDE ID associated with the authentication failure. Additionally, there is a difference in the severity classification between the two log entries, where the first entry is classified as [MANDATORY], while the second entry is classified as [SEVERE].

The e1root.log error entries related to this issue are as follows:
-----------------------------------------------------

STEPS
-----------------------

1. Access the JDE web client URL
2. Enter a valid user id and challenge the password by entering a wrong password
3. Observe the above errors in e1root.log
