E1: ASU: When Installing UN7 the Reports R98405 and R98403XB Fail with 'java.lang.SecurityException: sealing violation: package oracle.jdbc.pool is sealed' in jde.log (Doc ID 2960373.1)

Symptoms

On 9.2 deployment server with Oracle 19c as main database, when attempting to install the an Application Software Update(ASU) e.g., UN7 from the Application Software Updates (P96470 ZJDE0002) the reports R98405|XJDE0001(Table Conversion/Merge Driver for Specification Table Merge) and R98403XB|XJDE0001(Report - Load XML Data to Table)have failed.

The R98403XB report output shows ''Copy Failed' for object GT92002

The R98405 report output has below error in output

The following jar files required for 19c have already been downloaded to the E920_1/MISC folder in the deployment server.

ojdbc8.jar, ons.jar, and ucp.jar

Steps

  1. Install the ASU using the steps mentioned in E1: ASU: How To Download and Apply an Update as ASU UM2 - JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 Update 2 (Doc ID 1589335.1)
  2. Check the result of reports R98405 and R98403XB
