E1: 09E: Employee Profile (P20103) and Related Authority Setup (P0150) Does Not Issue a Hard Error when the Child Does Not Have an Expense Management Profile (Doc ID 2966723.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Expense Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Employee Profile (P20103) and related authority setup (P0150), does not issue a hard error when a child without an expense management profile is assigned to a parent.

Steps to Duplicate:

  1. Employee Profile - P20103: No record exists for 100
  2. Employee Profile - P20103: Find the record for employee 200. Then select Row exit > Authority Setup.
  3. Parent/Child Structure – P0150: Add a record for Structure Type ERS for employee 200.  In the grid, populate the group 1 record with address book number 100.  The record is saved, no error is triggered.

The Parent/Child appication (P0150) should validate if an Expense Management Profile exists when using an Expense Management Structure.  If the Expense Management Profile is missing, the system should trigger a hard error.
