Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running the R073162, State Tax Distribution Summary report during the Reports Only (P07240) step of Payroll Process (P07210), there is no taxable amount displayed on the report for ORWC-EE (Oregon Workers Comp-employee) or ORWC-ER (Oregon Workers Comp-employer), even though a tax amount is displayed.

Looking at Payment Review, Row exit from P07210, the system has considered the wages all Excludable, which they should not be.  In addition, a tax amount should not calculate if all wages are considered excludable.

Steps:
1. From P0801, Row exit to National/Fiscal Data and populate Tax Area (Work) and Tax Area (Res.) with Oregon geocode 380510460.
2. From P0801, Row exit Tax Overrides and set up as follows:
   Tax Area Overridden =380510000, Tax Type = L, Additional Withholding = .00, Additional/Flat Tax = F.
   Tax Area Overridden =380510460, Tax Type = F3, Additional Withholding = 1 .00, Additional/Flat = F.
   Tax Area Overridden = FEDERAL, Tax Type = A, Additional Withholding = 21.00, Additional/Flat = A.
3. From P07210, process Pre-Payroll and Reports Only, selecting the version for State Tax Distribution Summary, R073162. Review the report and note it shows "Blanks" for tax type 'GM' OREGON WORKERS COMP Employee and tax type 'HM' OREGON WORKERS COMP Employer.
