E1: 42: Sales Repost (R42995) Performance Problems When Processing Configured Items (Doc ID 2967295.1)

Sales Repost (R42995) performance is extremely slow on Configured Parts. For example it took over 33 minutes to Repost commitments on six sales order lines with one configured component item number. In the debug logs we can see the following error reported 292 times.

This error is issued by RepostComponentsCommitment (N3201610) on Line 371 of the code.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Configured Part XYZ is on 6 Sales Order Lines
2. Run Sales Repost (R42995) with Debug Logs on
3. Data Selection on this one configured part XYZ.
4. Submitted job started on 6/16/2023 at 15:14:56
5. Submitted Job ends at 15:48:03
6. Execution Detail shows elapsed time to process 6 records was 33 min 06 sec
7. Debug Log shows the business function RepostComponentsCommitment (N3201610) errors 292 times on 6 order lines containing 1 Configured Component.
8. On June 8, when Sales Repost (R42995) is run with normal data selection of all lines except where the order type is not equal to ‘SQ’ an line type is not equal to ‘999’ the job took 59 minutes and 16 seconds to run.
9. On June 9, when order lines with Configured items were excluded from the data selection it took only 3 min and 4 seconds to process Sales Repost.
