Symptoms

If the user role security does not allow the user access to the Post Program (R09801), PO Receipts (P4312) are not automatically posted, even when PO Receipts Process Tab option #16 (Activate Automatic G/L Batch Posting) has been set to allow the batch to automatically post.

If PO Receipts Process Tab option #16 (Activate Automatic G/L Batch Posting) has been set to allow the batch to automatically post, users should be able to have their own receipt transactions automatically posted.

Steps to Duplicate:

1. PO Receipts Process Tab option #16 (Activate Automatic G/L Batch Posting) has been set to 2 (Does not display Printer Selection form and automatically posts the batch.
2. A user whose role security does not allow them access to the Post Program (R09801) runs the PO Receipts (P4312) with the processing option set to “2” to allow automatic posting of the batch. They enter a partial quantity to receive, populate the Rec Opt field with “1” and click OK.
3. The receipt is processed but the post program is not automatically launched. There is no error to indicate the user does not have permissions to post.
