E1: GRID: When Clicking on a Watchlist Based Upon Databrowser in a Composite E1Page, Error JAS_MSG431: Fetch serialized object failed is Displayed (Doc ID 2971952.1)

Symptoms

If a composed page is created with a tile having databrowser based watchlist, then clicking on the watchlist throws an error instead of opening the databrowser.  When the page is loaded and the user clicks on the watchlist then below error appears in browser:

JAS_MSG431: Fetch serialized object failed. Please contact your system administrator.



JAS log will show below message :

01 Aug 2023 16:29:18,587 [SEVERE] JXXXXX2 - [DXXXXXHTML][GENERATOR] JavaGen error code = SPEC_ACCESS_ERROR com.jdedwards.runtime.generator.JavaGenException: JDESpecException Occurred! Error Message : The object with the key, FDASPECPrimarySpecKey: OBNM=DATABROWSE,RCRDTP=17,FMNM=F0101,GNCID2=null,WEVENT=null,GNCID3=null, does not exist.


Issue can be replicated using below steps :

  1. Fastpath to databrowser
  2. Open the table F0101
  3. Create a Query and Save it on the databrowser
  4. Create a Watchlist and Save it on the databrowser
  5. Create a composed page Watchlist tile type( User Dropdown>>Manage content>Composed Page>Create>Designer Pane>Add a Watchlist Tile)
  6. Select the Watchlist that was created on the databrowser and save the composed page
  7. At runtime load the composed page and click on the Watchlist tile in the loaded composed page
