E1: ORCH: Form Request - Row / Grid Filtering Option For The "Row Update" Does Not Work For a "Date" Column (Doc ID 2972469.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 15, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator - Version 9.2 and later
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using the "Filter" option for the Form Service Request for Grid, everything works fine except for the Date Filtering (it doesn't update the row when it filters based on a date column).    You have tried sending "05/29/2016", "2016-05-29", "05-29-2016" formats for the input, but none of them works.

==Steps to duplicate==

1.  Create an orch that uses a grid filtering option to update a grid.  -->  include a date column

Reference KM:   E1: ORCH: How to Select Multiple Rows and Add a Filter for Row Selection in a Form Service Request (available starting with TR 9.2.5.2) (Doc ID 2753390.1)

2.  When you pass the date to the filter, it doesn't update the row.

3.  If you do not filter a date column, then update works.
