Symptoms
When attempting to view a pdf attachment in the Attachments tab in an Equipment or Service Work Order (P13714, P17714 or P90CD002), the following message displays:
This media object is not viewable because of settings on your browser. Please download the media object file to your local machine to view with an appropriate application.
Hold down the Control key, and click here to save this media object
Steps:
1. Create a Capital Asset Management or Service Work Order (P13714, P17714 or P90CD002).
2. Click on the Attachments tab; using the Attachment Manager to fetch a pdf file.
3. After saving the attachment, return to the P13714, Attachments tab. Notice the following message:
This media object is not viewable because of settings on your browser. Please download the media object file to your local machine to view with an appropriate application.
Hold down the Control key, and click here to save this media object
Changes
The issue starts after moving from an Internet Explorer browser to Edge, Firefox or Chrome.
