Symptoms
When attempting to generate a Purchase Order (P4310) for a dual unit of measure Outside Operation item using the interactive Outside Operation Revisions program (P3161), the system appears to create the Purchase Order, however when the system returns to the Work Order Routing (P3112) and clicking OK, the following error occurs:

Steps:
1. Create a manufactured parent item (stocking type M) and outside operation item (stocking type X) (P4101, P41026) with dual unit of measure.
2. Create an Item Routing (P3003) with an outside operation sequence that corresponds to the Outside Operation item. Make sure that the operation has the PO Y/N set to N.
3. Create a Work Order for the parent (P48013).
4. Run Order Processing (R31410) to attach the Parts List/Routing.
5. Inquire on the Work Order in P48013 and take the row exit to Routing (P3112).
6. Select the Operation Sequence that corresponds to the outside operation; take the row exit to Outside Operations.
7. Select form exit, Generate PO; the system populates the Related PO Number/Type. Click OK.
8. The system will return to the P3112. Click OK again, and notice that the system returns the following error:
