Symptoms

JDBJ JDBC connections to DB2/400 databases have slow performance.

Note:  The issue only applies to E1 server instances that use a JDBC driver for connections to one or more DB2/400 databases.  JAS/HTML servers, AIS servers, BSSV/transaction servers, DAD drivers and Server Manager consoles are examples of types of E1 servers that may use a JDBC driver for connections to one or more DB2/400 databases.
