Symptoms
The log file size is increasing very fast and UBE kernels and Workflow kernels are going to zombie state during the automatic patching process on Autonomous Database System (ADBS).
The log files are flooded by the following messages:
The issue is still occurring if RefreshEnvOnOCIServerNotConnectedInterval is set to a longer interval (e.g. 15 seconds) under [DB SYSTEM SETTINGS] section in JDE.INI, as explained in the following Technical Brief:
