E1: PKG: After Building an Update Package Some Header Files Are Removed From F98780R Causing Future Packages to Fail With Missing .h Files (Doc ID 2981729.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 20, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After upgrading to Tools Release 9.2.7.3, when building a Server package, if the UBE Version is missing from the Repository and the client side uploads the UBE Version into the database, there is an error message in jde.log that the UBE version is missing the .h file.

Errors in the .err log:

Regenerating the header file in OMW and building an update package temporarily resolves the issue but issue comes back with next full package build.

To re-generate header file:
Log into a development client and fast path to OMW
Add UBE object to the default project
Select the UBE object and click design and then File, select Report Properties
Select the "Advanced" tab and press "Generate Header Report File"

Changes

Upgraded to Tools Release 9.2.7.3.
