E1: 43: Unable to Use CAFE1 to Display PO Detail (P4310) and Account Distribution (P4316) Forms Side by Side on the Same Screen (Doc ID 2982249.1)

Unable to Link PO Detail (P4310 Form W4310A) to Account Distribution (P4316 Form W4310A) with CAFE1 so that both forms can be displayed on the same screen.

Steps to Duplicate:

  1. A J-Line Type Purchase Order (P4310 Form W4310A) with one line was created with Multiple Account Distribution.
  2. Select the line and Row Exit to Account Distribution.
  3. The Account Distribution Screen (P4316 Form W4316A) is displayed showing the line is split between two expense accounts.
  4. Close the Account Distribution Form, returning to the PO Detail Screen. In the upper right corner of the screen, pull down the Personalization menu and select Edit Form Layout.
  5. On the Personalization Toolbar that appears at the top of the screen, click the plus (+) to add a Link.
  6. Select and Drag the EnterpriseOne Form option to the right of the screen. A form appears to the right titled “Create Link to EnterpriseOne Application".
  7. Populate “P4316” in the Application field and click on the Dynamic Link radio button.
  8. Map the following four fields:
    1. Order Company (KCOO)
    2. Order Number (DOCO)
    3. Order Type (DCTO)
    4. Line Number (LNID)
    5. Do not Map Order Suffix (SFXO)
  9. Click the Save Button on the Create Line to EnterpriseOne Application form.
  10. The following web exception error is displayed.
    1. An exception has been caught by the Web client. Please contact your system administrator. See log for details. Exception id =Exception_2023-10-19 14:19:39.318_Username
  11. Clear the error and reenter the PO Detail.
  12. The forms are not linked.
