Last updated on OCTOBER 27, 2023

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In the pre 9.2.6.6 tools release Orchestrations using JWT(JSON Web Token) authentication are taking longer than orchestration using basic authentication. This causes performance issues with JWT authentication where response times are more and there are failures for many requests with the below timeout exception.

java.net.socket.timeout exception

Steps
1. Open soap UI or any other load test tool
2. Submit N number of requests with basic authentication
3. Submit N number  requests with jwt authentication
4. compare the performance and check for error 'java.net.socket.timeout exception' in the response

Changes

 Upgrade to tools release 9.2.6.x
