Symptoms

Grid Import from Excel does not consider the Date Format defined for the Login User in P0092 when Date is imported into the Import Assistant grid.

The Date is imported in hardcoded MMDDYY format, causing Invalid Date error (019U) when the Date is populated in the EnterpriseOne grid.

Steps:

  1. Fastpath P0092. Find and select your Login UserID.
  2. Change Date Format to DMY i.e. DDMMYY.
  3. Log out and back into EOne.
  4. Fastpath P3460Z1. Click '+' to open form Forecast Transaction Revision (W3460Z1B).
  5. Create an Excel spreadsheet to import data. Ensure the Request Date is the last day of the month.
  6. Import from Excel using the spreadsheet created in step 5, click Apply.
  7. In the Import Assistant grid, observe Column R (Request Date) is in hardcoded MMDDYY format (instead of expected DDMMYY format).
  8. Click Continue, the data is returned to the grid of W3460Z1B with column(Request Date) in error 019U Date - Requested is invalid.
