Here is the business scenario: after an SO is generated by processing a message in P3411 Work With Detail Messages, the schedule date is set according to BP relationship table (F3403 as per the settings) and preferences profile is not used.

In P4210 Sales Order Detail Revisions, if a used changes the schedule pick date, the promised ship date and promised delivery will change according to preferences settings.

Here is the request: P4210 should offer a Processing Option (in Transfers tab) to allow to calculate the date changes using the F3403 lead time instead of the Sales Date preferences.
