Symptoms

When load confirming (P49640) an in-transit compartmentalized load that contains more than one item, the following error is received if the quantities are reduced for each compartment:

ERROR: Quantities Must Balance (0505)

STEPS

1. Setup two bulk item in a bulk branch using the P4101/P41026.
2. In Work with Load Types (P49003), turn on the Load Confirm Actuals and Adjust Sales Lines flags for the CI load type.
3. Create a vehicle for bulk product that contains four compartments (P4930).
4. Create a bulk sales order for the items created for 2000 LT on each line that creates a shipment.
5. Build a load using the P4960 and assign the vehicle created to the load.
6. Add the shipment created to the load.
7. Add 1000 LT per each compartment on the vehicle.
8. Approve the load using the P4960.
9. Confirm the load. Initially, the user is taken to the W49640A form. After clicking OK on this form, the user is taken to the Confirm Load - Compartments (W49640B). If the quantity on any compartment is changed to a different value (Ex: 995 LT), the error Quantities Must Balance (0505) is received.
