Symptoms

R31802A manufacturing accounting journal entries creates total cost (IC) mismatch between cardex (P4111) and G/L entries (P0911) when an item is setup with dual UOM and a setup labor rate exists.

Steps:

  1. P4101/P41026 - Setup a parent and a component item (GP-MAPC-UOM1 & GP-MAPC-UOM1.1).
  2. P4101 - Setup production UOM as BX for parent item GP-MAPC-UOM1.
  3. P41002 - Setup UOM conversion as 1BX = 100 EA.
  4. P3002/P3003 - Create BOM and Routing.
  5. R30812/R30835 - Run cost simulation and freeze the costs.
  6. P48013 - Create a work order for 67 quantities and attach parts list and routing.
  7. P31123 - Complete 67 quantities via super backflush completions.
  8. P4111 - Review cardex and observe the total amount is calculated as $5707.06.
  9. R31802A - Run Manufacturing accounting.
  10. Review the pdf output and observe the IC amount is calculated as $5650.68.
