E1: 07: Time Entry (P051121) Not Retrieving Overtime Rates from Union Rate Table (F069126)
(Doc ID 2996138.1)
Last updated on MARCH 11, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
After taking ESU JN2052, Speed Time Entry (P051121) does not retrieve Overtime Rates from Union Rate Table if Pay Type Tab Option #1 (Hourly Pay Type) = Blank in the Time Entry MBF Processing Options (P050002A) and Pay Rates Tab Option #1 (Pay Rate Source) = U (Union Rates Table (F069126)).
Speed Time Entry (P051121) does retrieve the Regular Rate from the Union Rate Table but not Overtime, Double Time and Triple Time Rates.
This appears to be the same issue reported in Bug 33821143 - P051121 NOT USING REGULAR OVERTIME RATE FROM UNION RATES TABLE AS SET UP but it does not appear to have been fixed.
Steps to Reproduce:
Setup Time Entry MBF Processing Options (P050002A)
- Pay Type Tab Option #1 (Union Table Pay Type Codes) = Blank.
- Pay Rates Tab Option #1 (Pay Rate Source) = U (Union Rates Table (F069126))
Create a version of Speed Time Entry (P051121) that calls the Time Entry MBF Processing Options (P050002A) version.
Review Union Rates Application (P059121) for Union Code 4000, Ending Date 12/31/2030, Job Type BR-1, Job Step M.
- Regular Rate = 35.00
- Overtime = 60.00
- Double Time = 80.00
- Triple Time = 120.00
Employee’s Regular (Non-Union) Hourly Rate is 34.15.
In Pay Type Revisions (P059116) for Pay Type 100 (Regular Overtime (Non-Union)) there is a Multiplier of 1.5. For this employee that would equal 52.50 (35.00 x 1.5), but because they are in the Union the Overtime Rate from the Union Table of 60.00 should be applied.
In Pay Type Revisions (P059116) for Pay Type 110 (Overtime 2.0 (Non-Union)) there is a Multiplier of 2.0. For this employee that would equal 70.00 (35.00 x 2.0), but because they are in the Union the Overtime Rate from the Union Table of 80.00 should be applied.
In Pay Type Revisions (P059116) for Pay Type 502 (Overtime 3.0 (Non-Union)) there is a Multiplier of 3.0. For this employee that would equal 105.00 (35.00 x 3.0), but because they are in the Union the Overtime Rate from the Union Table of 120.00 should be applied.
Use Speed Time Entry (P051121) to create a time card. Rates are supposed to be retrieved from the Union Table.
- Regular Rate defaults as 35.00 from Union Table
- Overtime (1.5) Defaults as 52.50 from the DBA 100 Multiplier. It should be 60.00 from the Union Table.
- Overtime (2.0) Defaults as 70.00 from the DBA 110 Multiplier. It should be 80.00 from the Union Table.
- Overtime (3.0) Defaults as 105.00 from the DBA 502 Multiplier. It should be 120.00 from the Union Table.
