JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In 9.2.4.x, when Form Extension calls an orchestration (ORCH) using the default job queue and "Run Synchronously" is disabled, control returns to the user immediately. Running the same test in 9.2.7.3, the orchestration seems to be running in sync instead of asynchronous.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
==================
1. Create an Orchestrations (ORCH) that calls a BSFN such as B0100002 where the ORCH has no output.
2. In P01012, add a button to call the ORCH via Form Extension.
3. Run P01012, do a find to return 100 rows. select all rows and click the button to call the ORCH.
4. Notice that the control is not returned to the user after 1 or 2 minutes. In 9.2.4.6 , control returns immediately.
