E1: 54R: Currency Exchange Rate Not Found Error (0949) on Domestic Rental Billing Workfile Generation (R54R300) (Doc ID 3001320.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run Rental Billing Workfile Generation (R54R300) over a domestic customer in a multi-currency environment, the following error occurs on the report:

Currency Exchange Rate Not Found
Error ID 0949

  1. In Work with Currency Exchange Rates (P0015A), ensure there is no record where the From Currency and To Currency are the same (e.g., From Currency = USD, To Currency = USD).
  2. Find an existing Rental Contract (P54R10) that has a customer with the same currency as the company's currency.
  3. Process the Rental Billing Workfile Generation (R54R300) batch program. Notice the following error on the report or Work Center:
Currency Exchange Rate Not Found
Error ID 0949

Note: if a record is created in Work with Currency Exchange Rates (P0015A) where the same From and To is used (e.g., From Currency = USD, To Currency = USD with multiplier rate = 1), the error does not display.
