E1: 49: Enhance Load Confirm Functionality For Partial Shipment Scenarios
(Doc ID 3002553.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 07, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Transportation logic was upgraded in 2023 with the addition of BUG 35428338.
There is a requirement to build on the new functionality where an option was added to the P4205, to control the next status of the line added with a partial Load Confirm.
An option is required to identify if the remaining quantities will be delivered 'as soon as possible’ (ASAP)' – for example, where there is still a current requirement for the remaining quantity to be delivered to the customer as soon as something can be arranged, or, the opposing scenario, where the stock may have experienced an issue (could not be located, for example) and was therefore backordered/cancelled per the normal sales process, as these quantities cannot be delivered to the customer 'ASAP'.
Where the remaining quantities will be delivered to the customer 'ASAP' an option is required so that these new/split lines can be created in a new shipment or not. Where they are needed in a new shipment, both the shipment status AND line status will need to be specified.
