E1: XMLP: RD Jobs Redirect to P95630 and Populates Report Definition Execution Host with UBE Host in P95630 When Selecting the View Output Icon in WSJ After Configuring Embedded BI Publisher Server Group in P95647 (Doc ID 3004709.1)

Symptoms

After configuring the Embedded BI Publisher Server Group in P95647 (Embedded BI Publisher Server Group Configuration), the UBE Host and Report Definition Host can be different. When they are different, RD (Report Definition) output cannot be viewed from WSJ (Work with Submitted Jobs).

When clicking on 'View Output' button in WSJ grid, Report Definition Output Repository (P95630|W95630E) screen is opened and it populates 'Actual Host' into Report Definition Execution Host form field. As a result, no records are displayed in the grid in P95630|W95630E. Ideally, it should download the single RD output when clicking on 'View Output' in WSJ.

Also, the Report Definition Execution Host name populated in Report Definition Output Repository screen should be the Report Definition Host and not the UBE Host. This scenario also happens when taking the 'View RD Output' row exit from WSJ.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Configure an Embedded BI Publisher Server Group in P95647 with a couple of servers
  2. Restart the service
  3. Run the RD job
  4. Access WSJ from fastpath and click on the 'View Output' button in WSJ grid record for the above RD job

Note: Issue will not happen for all the records in WSJ. It happens ONLY when UBE Host and Report Definition Host are different.
