E1: 07: Pre-Payroll (R07200) Is Ignoring Employee DBA for Vacation Accrual with Table Code that Calculates Zero Accrual (Doc ID 3006810.1)

Symptoms

Vacation, Floating Holiday and other benefits that do not apply to certain employees in certain companies are now accruing. Employees in Company 00002 are not supposed to accrue hours for Vacation (DBA 8011), Floating Holiday (DBA 8004) and Personal Leave (DBA 8000) because the Table Code 08099 which is designed to calculate an Amount of Zero.

Steps to Reproduce:

NOTE: Actual Employee and personal data is not used.
  1. Review Employee DBA instructions assigned to Company 00002 employees which are set as follows:
    1. DBA XXXA - Pers Leave, Table Code XXXAA
    2. DBA XXXB - Floating Holiday, Table Code XXXAA
    3. DBA XXXC - Vacation, Table Code XXXAA
  2. Verify that Table Code XXXAA uses Table Method PA (Amount Times Rate/Basis=Months)
    1. Amt/Rate is 0.
    2. Amt should calculate as 0.
  3. Submit Pre-Payroll on 9 employees in Company 0000X
  4. DBA Register (R073062) shows DBA Code XXXB (Floating Holiday) shows Amounts accrued > zero
    1. Employee DBA instructions and table codes seem to be ignored.
