E1: 49: Load Unapproval With Additional Shipment Update Sets Incorrect Shipment Status (Doc ID 3009113.1)

Last updated on MARCH 13, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When unapproving a Load and updating the Shipment dates during the process, the Shipment status is not reverting to 10, remaining at status 25. As a result, the order line does not reflect the date changes made on the shipment.

When a Load is unapproved WITHOUT making any change to the Load, the Load status is set at 22 and the Shipment status is correctly set to 10.

STEPS TO DUPLICATE:

  1. Raise a TMS order that will create a shipment. Add the shipment to a standard Load (ST).
  2. Approve the Load. Note that the shipment status advances to status 25.
  3. Go into the Load Details form (W4960C) and take the form exit to Un-Approve Load.
  4. Once unapproved, take the exit for Header Revisions and make a change to the Ship Date on the Load.
  5. This change of date may require the Promised delivery date to be modified in the Stop Sequence, to avoid date errors.
  6. Save the Load, note that it reverts to status 22. Check the shipment, it remains at status 25.
