Symptoms

Blend Operation Search P31B94 sets wrong Display Decimals in F3711 Test Results for a QA operation. The test value must be left blank first and the record saved, then populated after the operation is edited again. This is after the previous test entered was with a test definition with zero decimals for the same tank.

Steps

  1. Create a test name with 3 decimals in P37013. Create e test definition with 0 decimals in P3701 and associate it with the test name created before.
  2. Create a new blend QA type operation in P31B94, choose one vessel and enter value 1 as test result for the test defined before. Save and close.
  3. Change to 3 decimals in test definition and test name.
  4. Create a new QA blend operation for the same vessel and choose the same test name, do not input a value (Leave blank). Save and close.
  5. Open and edit the second QA operation, enter 1.557 for the test result. Save and close.
  6. Open in view mode the second QA operation, notice 1557 (or for customer rounded from 2.557 to 3), so no decimals (expected 3 decimals). Check in F3711 and notice the Display Decimals (CDEC2) = 0
    Extra test
  7. Create a new QA operation for the same vessel and enter 1.557 and save. It works fine if you do it in a single step.
