E1: ORCH: Output from Steps are Missing in Orchestration Output When Using Raw Output (Doc ID 3014024.1)

Last updated on APRIL 23, 2024

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

After converting an orchestration from V2 to V3, which returns raw output and all the steps have the "Return Raw Output" turned on under the Transformations, the orchestration output is missing the output from a step. This is not just happening when converting from V2 to V3, but also happens when creating a new orchestration using the following steps.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Create a form request (ServiceRequest1) with multiple forms and make sure that "Return Data From All Forms" in Form Requests Options is not selected
  2. Add the form request to an orchestration
  3. Add a data request (ServiceRequest2) after the form request in orchestration
  4. Make sure to select "Return Raw Output" under the Transformations for both the steps in the orchestration
  5. Make sure not to select any Outputs under "Outputs and Assertions" screen so that the orchestration produces raw output
  6. Run the orchestration and review the raw output from the orchestration

Sample Orchestration Output:

  "ServiceRequest1": {
    "forms": []
  "ServiceRequest2": {
    "fs_DATABROWSE_F0101": {
      "title": "Data Browser - F0101 [Address Book Master]",
      "data": {
        "gridData": {
          "id": 52,
