E1: 43: General Ledger Date Not Populated Correctly in EDI Detail Table F47072 - EDI Receiving Advice Detail Inbound
(Doc ID 3014582.1)
Last updated on APRIL 08, 2024
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne EDI - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The customer is reporting that the GL Date is defaulted from the Processing Option (or defaulted to today's date if no Processing Option) even when the GL Date is populated in EDI Detail Table (F47072) table through EDI Revisions (P47070) or
any other external sources.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Go to EDI Revisions (P47070).
- Add a record so that records are written to the EDI Header and Detail tables F47071 and F47072 (Make sure there are orders ready to be received). Make sure the GL Date is populated on the grid.
- Run the EDI Inbound Receive Advice (R47071) with and/or without Processing Option GL Date populated.
- Notice the GL Date in PO Receiver table (F43121) gets populated from the Processing Option of the R47071 or today's date. The date from the EDI table is not populated, but should as it is most specific data.
If the GL Date exists on grid (in the F47072), use that date and use Processing Option Date only when GL Date is unavailable.
