E1: 47: Allow Zero Retainage to be Withheld in R470412 EDI Invoice Match (810 Transaction Set) (Doc ID 3016451.1)

Last updated on APRIL 15, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne EDI - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Where a purchase order (subcontract) has a percentage retained (for example 15%), there will be a point where the Supplier’s final invoice is due and there is no need to withhold any retainage.

Using the EDI Invoice/Match functionality, the user launches the P47040 to access field PCR (Percentage Retained) in the F47041/Header. This field does not accept a <zero> value, it has to be either <blank> or have a minimum value of 0.1 set. As a result, the R470412 application executed over the data, does not recognize the value and withholds the retainage.

It is acknowledged that the application does not allow the release of retainage (per knowledge bulletin 625507.1) but this request is to enhance the functionality to allow a Zero Retainage Withholding to be processed via the EDI 810 functionality.
