E1: FDA: Form Interconnect (FI) Called From Grid Column Highlights Grid Rows Instead of Invoking FI When Records Exceed Bottom Border (Doc ID 3017080.1)

Last updated on APRIL 19, 2024

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Form Interconnect (FI) to Address Book (P01012) is called from grid column Address Number in a Power Edit Form.

When the bottom row exceeds the border and the Address Number clicked, multiple rows highlight instead of invoking the form interconnect. This happens in Chrome and Edge browser with Zoom set to 100%.

  1. Create an application with grid column ER to call P01012 Form Interconnect (e.g. P55RESOL).
  2. Test the Form Interconnect > Open local web > Tools > EnterpriseOne Menus in Chrome browser.
  3. Verify Zoom is set to 100%.
  4. Fast Path to application created in Step 1 (e.g. P55RESOL) > click Find > select Order Number 4888 > click GoToEnd.
  5. Note overflow, bottom row exceeds the border.
  6. Click on the Address Number in the last visible row = five rows highlight, the Form Interconnect is not invoked.

The issue does not occur when Zoom is set to 90% or less or if the Address Number is clicked a second time.
