Symptoms
When attempting to Receive an Item to Stock using Receipt Routing Movement (P43250), the following error is returned and the transaction cannot be completed.
Standard Cost Not Set Up (039H)
CAUSE . . . . The standard cost for this item was not set up in F4105.
Sales/Inventory Cost Method was set up as '07' (standard cost) for this item which requires a standard cost.
RESOLUTION. . Set up standard cost in F4105 (Cost Revisions).

The issue was reproduced with the following steps:
- Client is purchasing a new item for the first time in Branch Plant 23.
- Program runs a non-JDE Application, PDH (Product Data Hub)
- This application creates new records in the Item Master (F4101), Item Branch (F4102) and Item Cost (F4105) files.
- Item Availability (P41202) shows there is no inventory yet for the item.
- The Item Cost Ledger (P4105) shows:
- Sales Inventory Cost method in header is 02 (Weighted Average Cost)
- Sales Inventory Cost (02) record in grid is 0.00
- A purchase order (P4310) is placed for an item quantity and amount greater than 0.
- The purchase order is received (P4312) into Receipt Routing.
- When the Receipt Routing Movement (P43250) program is used to move the item to stock, the “Standard Cost Not Set Up” (039H) error is displayed.
- The user is unable to receive the item to stock.
