Symptoms

For one G/L Account under investigation, in the Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) the Order Detail (F4311) Commitments are 60,388.25 and the Audit Trail Open Commitments (F43199 PA) are 174,109.25 which is variance of -113,721.00.

Steps to Duplicate:

  1. Run Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) for one particular account under investigation.
  2. The Order Detail (F4311) Commitments Column of the report shows 60,388.25 and the Audit Trail Open Commitments (F43199 PA) Column of the report shows 174,109.25 which results in an integrity variance of -113,721.00.
  3. Commitment Inquiry (P40230A) for the specific account shows 159 PO Lines with an Open Commitment Amount of 174,109.25.
    1. This matches the Audit Trail Open Commitments column of the Commitment Integrity Report (R40910).
    2. The total Commitments entered to date is 1,752,192.05 and the total Commitments Relieved was 1,578, 082.80.
    3. Commitment Relieved gets updated when the PO is posted.
  4. Open Purchase Order Inquiry (P4310) shows only 20 PO Lines where there is an Open PO Amount.
    1. That means that the Commitment Audit Trail has 139 PO Lines that are displayed as open when they should be relieved. 
    2. The sum of the 20 PO Lines with Open Amounts is 60,399.25 which matches the Order Detail Open Amount Column in the Commitment Integrity Report (R40910).
