Information in this document applies to any platform.

When performing a Pick Confirm (P4617) for the remaining quantity on a work order for a license plate item, the quantity on the parts list is being incorrectly updated. This only occurs if the same lot number selected for picking is on multiple LPNs and the suggestion has been partially confirmed. The parts list is originally created in the CA unit of measure, but on the final confirmation, the unit of measure is updated to PL and the quantity calculated is incorrect.

1. In the P4101, setup a parent item with a M stocking type. Setup this item in the Item Branch for a License Plate branch. This item will not be used for WMS process. Setup the production unit of measure as CA and define the unit of measure conversion as the following:

1 PL = 10 CA
1 CA = 6 EA

2. In the Item Master and Item Branch, setup a standard stock item that will be used as the component for the Bill of Material. Use the same unit of measure conversions that are setup for the parent item above.
3. Setup the component item for warehouse processing in the P46010, P46011 and ensure a valid warehouse process group is assigned to the item.
4. Setup a Bill of Material (P3002) for the parent item and component.
5. Using the P4114, add 4 PL of the component item with the same lot number in the picking location.
6. Verify in the P46L10 that four different LPNs have been created for the item in one lot/location.
7. Create a work order using the P48013 for the parent item for 40 CA. The parts list created should have 240 EA for the component item.
8. Run the R31410 (Order Processing) on the work order with processing options setup to generate a warehouse pick request.
9. Go into the P4600 and verify the request was created and that the parts list has a material status 07 (in warehouse).
10. Either using manual planner or the R46171, create suggestions for the request. If using manual planner, split the quantity into four separate quantities of 60 EA to account for the quantity on each LPN.
11. Verify that four suggestions were created for each available LPN for 60 EA in the P4617.
12. Go into the P4617 and confirm only the first suggestion. The quantity on the parts list is correct, as a new line has been created for the 60 EA confirmed with 180 EA on the other record.
13. Go back to the P4617 and confirm the remaining suggestions. The parts list is now incorrect. The first line is closed, but the second line shows that the unit of measure has been updated to PL and the order quantity has changed to 1.0172 (it was a total of 4 PL).
