E1: 74: SEPA: Add Universally Unique Identifier (UETR) to the SEPA Credit Transfer (R704001) Following GUIDv4 (Doc ID 3026076.1)

Last updated on MAY 30, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently it is not possible to populate the Universally Unique Identifier (UETR) to the SEPA Credit Transfer file (R704001). The requirement is for the UETR to follow GUIDv4 version of Universally Unique Identifier (UUID). In JDE there is jdeCreateGuidString() API, which on Windows calls the Windows API and generates GUIDv4, and on Linux calls some other API and generates a different flavor of UUID. The requirement is to add UETR in the SEPA xml and follow GUIDv4 regardless of the platform where it will run (i.e. including on Linux).
