E1: ORCH: REST Connector Fails in Tools Release 9.2.8.2 But Works In Older Tools Release Level – Question Mark ("?") is Replaced By "%3F" (Doc ID 3027232.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 17, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Symptom 1:

After upgrading to Tools Release 9.2.8.2, the external REST API connectors do not work anymore.

The common point between these APIs is that they use question marks ("?") as a separator for parameters. With the new Tools Release, the "?" is replaced by "% 3F" and this causes the connector to fail.

This can be seen in the AIS debug log.

Symptom 2:

Testing the rest connection by clicking on the “Test” button, error 400 shows:

In the AIS trace log the following error appears:

The connector uses the pathing and not parameters.

Changes

Upgrade the Tools Release to 9.2.8.2.
