Symptoms

When running the R46171 (Process Pick Requests) over a request created for a License Plate item and the picking instructions are setup to use an U/M Group, the customer is seeing different results if the instructions are setup with a specific unit of measure. When running the R46171 for a specific unit of measure setup in the P46095, the program correctly selects the random locations defined. When the picking instructions are setup with a Unit of Measure Group, part of the quantity is suggested on the order, but the remaining quantity is not selected. In looking at the report, the following errors are received multiple times on many different locations selected:

ERRORS: 3458 - Zone does not match & 3636 -Same From and To Location

STEPS

1. Using the P46095, setup picking instructions for a warehouse process group that uses FIFO, random requirements and a unit of measure group. This should be done in a License Plate enabled branch.
2. Using the P46096, setup the Unit of Measure group and define this for 12 different units of measure.
3. Add inventory for the item in multiple picking locations, but make sure that each location would not fill the entire quantity that will be entered on the sales order.
4. Create a sales order (P4210) for a quantity that is greater than one single location used for picking and generate the picking request.
5. Run the R46171. Multiple locations are attempted to be selected for the picking location. One location is used up completely for part of the quantity on the request, but the remaining quantity is not suggested when inventory is available to pick. The errors 3458 - Zone does not match & 3636 -Same From and To Location are seen for multiple locations on the pdf report.
