E1: SEC: Security Kernels Zombies Are Generated When JWT Authentication is Used With Username > 50 Characters and No Mapping in P0092L (Doc ID 3030405.1)

Last updated on JULY 29, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

JWT authentication was enabled. If a mapping in P0092L exists for a username with >50 characters, the login works fine. However, if no user mapping in P0092L is present Enterprise kernel is crashing generating a zombie.
No login is possible, and no error message is show. JDE is just loading indefinitely. Doing the same for a user with only 49 characters and no mapping in P0092L JDE will immediately display an error on the login page and no kernel crashes on enterprise server.

Steps:

1.Login with JWT token (access_token= in URL)
2.Username is greater than 50 characters
3.No mapping in P0092L exists for that user
