E1: 32: Clicking on the Grid Next to Calculated Segments in Configured Item Segments (P3210) Incorrectly Changes Values to ‘1’ (Doc ID 3033340.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 21, 2024

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Configurator - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When configuring an item in Configured Item Revisions (P3210) where there are alphanumeric calculated segments linked to a UDC, if the user clicks on the grid next to the segment, the system may replace the original value with '1'. When reviewing the C Assembly Inclusion Rules (P3293), the updated value (1) is not a valid return option.

Steps:
1. Create a configured item (P4101/P41026).
2. In Configured Item Segments, create multiple required and calculated segments.
3. Create C Assembly Inclusion Rules (P3293) that are linked to UDCs and that can return certain values present in the UDC.
4. Create a Sales Order (P4210).
5. The system will call Configured Item Revisions (P3210); enter a valid configuration and note that the calculated segments populate as expected.
6. Click on the grid next to the calculated segments. Notice that the system changes the values to '1'. This is not correct based on the C Assembly Inclusion Rules.
